Lin forced to sit with chest issue

News: Rockets guard Jeremy Lin was ruled out for Game 4 of Houston’s first-round playoff series against the Thunder due to a pulled muscle in his chest. Lin, who was limited to just 18 minutes in Game 3 after re-aggravating his injury, is being considered day to day, according to the team’s official website.

Analysis: Lin hasn’t missed a game all year, so that fact that he has to sit out in the postseason must be killing him. The 24-year-old turned in a fairly productive regular season as he averaged 13.4 points and 6.1 assists on 44.1 percent shooting from the field. Not too shabby when you consider he had to learn to play off the ball once the team acquired James Harden. We would expect Lin to be a bit more comfortable in his roll within coach Kevin McHale’s offense during his second year in Houston, so owners should plan on targeting him in the middle rounds of most draft formats next fall.
