Noah plays on for Bulls

News: As expected, Bulls center Joakim Noah was able to play through his foot injury during Game 5 of Chicago’s first-round playoff series against the Nets. Noah, who has been dealing with a case of plantar fasciitis in his right foot, finished with 11 points and four rebounds in the 110-91 defeat. He went 4 of 8 from the field and added two blocks, one steal and one assist to his stat line, while logging 28 minutes.

Analysis: Noah is clearly not at 100 percent, but has been able to keep himself on the court thus far. Despite missing 12 of Chicago’s 15 final games down the stretch, Noah was fantastic in the regular season. He averaged a career-best 12.2 points, 11.4 rebounds, 2.2 blocks and 1.2 steals on the year, despite shooting just 48 percent from the field. He has clearly established himself as a must-start center and should be considered as much heading into next season.
