AP says he is ’95 percent’ healthy

News: The Star Tribune reports Vikings running back Adrian Peterson, who took the field Week 1 against the Jaguars after tearing his ACL and MCL Week 16 last season, said Thursday he is about “95 percent” of what he was before getting hurt. “[Five percent] might not look like much from the outside,” Peterson said. “But it’s going to be huge. Like night and day. Seriously.”

Analysis: The Vikings still aren’t sure how many carries AP is truly ready for heading into Week 2 against the Colts, but on Monday coach Leslie Frazier said he doesn’t feel AP is ready for 20-25 carries. He might see 15-20 carries again Week 2, but AP did a lot of damage on just 17 carries last week, so make sure to activate him in all formats heading into Week 2.
