Thomas has minor shoulder injury

News: Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas appeared on the injury report Thursday, but coach John Fox said he practiced in full despite a minor shoulder injury, according to The Denver Post. It is believed Thomas suffered the injury Week 1 against the Steelers, but he has received treatment from the training staff since Sunday, according to the Post. Thomas and the Broncos play at Atlanta Week 2.

Analysis: It doesn’t sound as though Thomas is dealing with any major issue, so Fantasy owners shouldn’t panic. Thomas had a big performance Week 1 against the Steelers, totaling 110 yards and one touchdown on five catches. Atlanta allowed 241 yards passing in its season opener and surrendered 16 Fantasy points to opposing wideouts. Monday’s contest in the Georgia Dome will provide favorable conditions for throwing the ball and could end up being a shootout based on how Atlanta performed in Week 1. Thomas is a viable Fantasy start in all formats.
